Terrible
By Anne
Our first impression. Great location but the inside needs an overhaul. Not sure if the owner is aware it is now 2005. We were seated right away but the waitstaff was terribly slow, the food was awful and over priced. Clam Chowder was served cold, my friend sent his meal back as it smelt like old fish...the only sure thing was the side dinner salad.

The owner should be prosecuted for fraud
By David
This place was great in the 60's, and I unwittingly chose it for my son's graduation party in 1997.
While sitting endlessly waiting for a table, the owner? Anthony? groveled distustingly to one customer, but when another politely asked if he could ask a question, he extremely rudely said NO and walked away. That was it for me and I wanted to leave and go ANYWHERE else, but my son wanted to stay.
The food was mediocre and overpriced, and there was no non-smoking section. My wife ordered about $15 worth of food, and they tacked on an additional $5 charge because it was not an entre. They double-debited my credit card, once for the meal + tip and again for the meal without the tip. I had to file a dispute with the credit card company to reverse the double billing.
This place is only for people who WANT to get abused, pay top dollar for junk food, and get ripped off by crooks.
Be warned -

worst restaurant..
By not a pier fan
i may have a bit of a biased opinion b/c i tend to lean more toward value than quality ... so i may expect too much for the price im paying.. All the entree's other than the scrod and the sole were all above $25 - the lobster .. btwn $40-50
a group of us went and although the view, and teh setting was good, i couldnt help being critical b/c im such a cheapskate >.<
anyhow, here's what i thought about the food.
my friends had the lobster and the combination platter while i had the baked stuffed sole.
The sole while one of the cheaper dishes on the menu, is horrible. The rice that came with the sole was both undercooked and came soaked in water.. the fish bland and nothing speical. While the combination seemed interesting.. wasnt too specatcular .. The lobster .. while looked good, wasnted impressive either.. like the same lobster i would make if i buy it from a store and boil it myself.
So the sitting, the view?.. eh. not a great view of the city b/c u're facing logan airport. the interior was warm and set like an upscale joint.. however the utensils were a bit on the dirty side, and the waiting staff while not THE friendlest, they seemed to know their stuff
for the price i payed, i could've gone to top of the hub and get a real view .. errrgh.. still pissed
