Great for curly hair!

I'm sorry that the other poster had such a horrible experience. I have been in her position, so I can understand it. But I know several people who love this salon, myself included!
If you have curly hair, this is the place to go. Ask for Shelley and she will give you a wonderful haircut. It's so difficult to find a decent hair salon in Boston that will cut CURLY hair the way it needs to be cut.
Please don't judge the entire salon on one stylist.
I will say, however, that my manicure was sub-par. Chipped within hours.
On the other hand, I had my eyebrows waxed and they came out looking fantastic!

Carriage House -CUT MY HAIR TOO SHORT!

My first visit required a second visit to fix the horrible haircut I got at the first...cut was WAY too short, in a strange bob, without even asking me if that's what I wanted!! - then when I went back, the biatch who messed it up STOOD THERE hovering in the background - resentfully - while another *competent* hair stylist FIXED what she had done. But everyone knows you can't FIX a cut that's too SHORT in the first place!! I will NEVER go back there again. Caveat emptor. Especially at their ridiculous prices.
