Leadership
By L

The Boston Chapter hosts 4 events per year. I have attempted to contact the organization several different times to attend a meeting and to find out what type of events the organization host and/or sponsor. I never received a response from the so called president of the organization. I also attended the diversity networking event, which was a great event, and filled out paperwork, I filled out the paperwork in hopes of being contacted by someone because I was interested in joining the organization, but once again, I never heard back from anyone. I speak with someone who is currently a member of the organization, to find out the activities that the organization is involved, only to find that the chapter is only involved in 4 event per year. The same person informed me that it took 2 years to gain membership although this person was already a part of the organization. It wasn't until the President of another chapter came to Boston that they were able to gain membership. Another example of the failed leadership within the organization. If the organization is interested in moving forward and branching out, the organizational leadership needs to change or they will continue to be looked down upon. Good Luck Boston!!!
