Over Priced league
By Peter Gross

The league runs a summer, fall and Sunday fall league, all of which give poor value for the money paid. A team in the summer league pays approx. $ 850. What do you get? A field, lights if necessary, a box of 12 softballs for the season and a planning of the schedule that is usually communicated at the last minute. You bring you own bases, pay for the ASA umps each game (if they show up), pay penalty fees for a forfiet, provide your own team shirts. The league collects over $98,000 for the summer league alone, where does it all go? Consider the fact that the fall season has 2 leagues running and sometimes with the same teams. The league was once managable and better coordinated 5 years ago, but the two people running the league have become greedy.

The Boston ski and sports club runs a better league and value for your dollar.

needs improvement
By Mr Softball

Very poorply organized. Seems to post schedule only 1-2 weeks in advance, making it hard to coordinate plans around games. Games aren't in the towns promised, hardly "West" at all.
