Crebase and Billcliff made several appearances on national television this week, claiming they found the crate containing the money while digging up a small tree in Crebase's backyard. Solomon said police might never have suspected anything had the men not sought publicity. Records show that Billcliff was sentenced in January 2000 to two years' probation after pleading guilty to a federal charge of counterfeiting currency. Investigators had found copying and printing machines and counterfeit bills in his Haverhill apartment, the newspaper reported. http://www.boston.com/news/...buried_treasure/

But is it relevant? Nobody seems to think they counterfeited these old bills.

Police Chief Joseph E. Solomon said on ABC's "Good Morning America" program that investigators believe the men found the money in a house where they were doing roofing work. He said the men probably "cooked up a scheme" to make the find look legitimate so they could keep the money.
Nice photo. If I were called to the jury in this case, I'd need to ask to be excused on the grounds that I'd be prejudiced against these guys on account of their looks. Nothing of interest here. Move along
one of them, I'm not sure which one, was on NPR yesterday..he sounded smart, relaxed and interested by what they found. I was surprised that his picture didn't capture the same vibe he had on radio.

The picture looks like a publicity still from some Showtime series or something!

It all goes to show that these birds went true to form, once a dope always a dope.they couldn't even keep their stories straight.First thet were digging up a tree then they were digging a hole to plant one.Sounds like some Democrats who have run for President. Trust in God and sin not.Don't blame me I'm like Sparky I voted for Sarah to.
Irrelevant cheap shot. Nothing of interest here. Move along

"I just wanted to be on TV for publicity for the band," said Ingham I wonder what his band is called? http://www.thebostonchannel.com/news/4437386/detail.html?treets=...ts=H

Google truly is your best buddy, the one you'd love to leave work right now to have a drink with: http://www.seacoastonline.com/news/04282005/south_of/39450.htm Despite the dispute over who controls the money, the friends appear to agree on what they should do with at part of it: putting some of it into Ingham’s rock band, called Till We Die. Both say the band, which Crebase described as "aggressive rock," can make it big with some help. Perhaps they could rename it Till We Get Out. But, yes, there's no reason they couldn't have included that in the story; it's not like thebostonchannel.com suffers from a shortage of pixels or something.

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I'm gonna start a band called Newstead Montegrade. We're going to play dark, moody tunes with kind of a Brit-rock feel to them. Think lots of headbands, belted blazers, plaid bell-bottoms, pictures of pagodas. Look out for our cover of Play That Funky Stadium, White Boy.
