Sometimes when I am waiting for a bus, the bus just went past me without stopping. What's up with that? When I was riding in a bus, the driver missed other people too.

Provided you were at a stop between the two MBTA signs, the bus was actually doing a route (had a number on it, had people in it, had the interior lights on, etc), and you looked as if you were ready to get on a bus rather than were just loitering, you should go to MBTA.com and fill out a complaint thingy. There's actually an option for "bus skipped stop/left person" or something like that. The MBTA people get right back to you with an actual response after having talked to the driver and figured out what happened.
The T use to do that also on routes 117,116 trying to get to Maverick Station. At 7:30 in the morning! The first bus would zip past, I'm sure the driver thinking "Oh there's one right behind me" but there was no guarantee(sp?) the second would stop for you either and often didn't anyway. So left to wait another 15-20 minutes for a bus. One time last year again both buses went past me. (I know it happened before but that time it really ticked me off) What about the T's sh**ty "bill of rights"? did I get a discounted T pass? or free fare? NOPE The second bus was stopped at the red light down the street AND the draw bridge went up.. so I walked down to the bus and knocked on the door. He let me on and said "This is an express bus!" and I said "Bullsh** it is." and then sat down. When I got off at Mav. St. I told a dispatcher. I know other people in my area complained as well. Lately I haven't experienced that any more.
