The Bowdoin loop WILL be at the top of the list for the next trip! BTW, on my way home (which took two hours longer than usual) I decided to shoot the inbound Green Line turning at Boylston Street Station. Out of courtesy, I put my permit against the window of the token booth so the young lady would understand why I would be perched on the steps. Well that was a mistake. She just didn't get it and had to call security on her phonetalky. He arrived and I had to go through the turnstile to explain that I have permission to photograph. It was similar to the South Station moment with the security there, except this guy eventually gave me the "OK." In the meantime, "tourists" were snapping their instamatics in the station. The strobe effect seemingly went unoticed. Grrr. With my old camera, I shot one-second exposures at Boylston and Fenway Stations. I wanted to catch some motion. My film is getting processed at this moment. I have a few frames left in the instamatic. Yes I used flash but never toward a motorperson.

Sometimes it just doesn't pay to play by the rules, I guess. On my way home, I discovered an important lesson: If you're not the most coordinated person to begin with, it's probably best not to try to juggle a bottle of water while looking at pictures on your digital camera, because otherwise, you might just do something like drop the camera and discover just how fragile the things are. So, now I have a dead camera (at least the bottle was almost empty, so I didn't get covered in water). Bowdoin Loop, Bowdoin Loop, Bowdoin Loop!

Oh, great, just what the world needs: Dutch Elvis impersonators.
That's dangerous... could lead to Dutch Elvis disease
I saw a guy called Martin Fox - Elvis2k from England, UK and he was on at the Elvisarama Museum while visiting Las Vegas on Holiday. I was surprised as he was very good. I was talking to him after the show and he mentioned that Elvis is going strong in England and he has worked for Sony, Ericsson, Fujifilm and even Disney. His website is http://www.elvis2k.co.uk it has a lot of MP3 sound samples and some photos. He may not be local but does travel.. a jetset Elvis !?!?

Elvis passed me on the Tobin Bridge yesterday. He was in a later '80s Pontiac.

As we see in the Revere case, Elvis impersonators are evil and must be banned.
