moving to Boston

Hi,

i am officially over California and the west coast and I am looking and slowly figuring out where to relocate on the east coast,somewhere urban with public transportation and 4 seasons. Can you, Bostonians tell me why should I not consider moving to Boston?

Also,I am currently working as a software engineer for a bank in Southern California and I am curious what is the job market in Boston like for computer people. So if anyone has any info I would really appreciate if they share it with me.
