NY'er looking to move to Boston..

hey everyone, My girlfriend and I in our mid-twenties and are looking to move from Long Island to the Boston area. were curious on affordable places to live (apartments), jobs, nightlife, roughly the same age group (gay friendly a huge plus), shopping. we're just starting out our search and thought this would be the best way to get some info! anything would help, thanks!!
