Formerly Known as the Cambridge Madrigal Singers, CCS is now in its 29th season, and will be auditioning for new singers:

Auditions for our 2009-2010 season will be held at
MIT, 77 Massachusetts Avenue
Cambridge, MA 02139, in room 5-234.

Experienced singers of all parts are encouraged to audition.

Wed., Sept. 1, 2010 Auditions 7:00 - 9:00 PM
Thu., Sept. 2, 2010 Auditions 7:00 - 9:00 PM
Wed., Sept. 8, 2010 Auditions 7:00 - 9:00 PM
Thu., Sept. 9, 2010 Auditions 7:00 - 8:00 PM
Open Rehearsal 8:00 - 9:45 pm
In the 10-minute audition you will:

1) Sing a prepared, unaccompanied piece -
something you're comfortable with.
Demonstrate accuracy and expressiveness.

2) Sight read a Renaissance excerpt and a contemporary piece.

3) Do some vocal exercises across your range as requested.

4) Sing back a series of intervals.
