It's been a couple of years (at least) since we crowned Bernie & Phyl the most annoying people in Boston, so it's time for a new competition. So if you were putting together a list of Boston's 64 most annoying people (to be assembled into a March-Madness like series of annoy-offs), who would you put on the list? Here's my initial, incredibly pitiful, list: Bernie & Phyl Bob Barry and Eliot Tom Menino Mitt Romney Kerry Healey Keith Foulke Dan Shaughnessy Tom Reilly Dianne Wilkerson Chuck Turner Leonard Samia Jay Severin Mike Barnicle Jon Keller Natalie Jacobsen Todd English

He has not been around for years but this guy should be in the Boston hall of fame He was a sportscaster and the host of candle pins for cash TV show .............................Bob Gamere................................ I have witnessed with my own eyes. Bob gamere being asked by bouncers to leave three different bars, 2 in quincy market and 1 in back bay. nobody in boston even comes close to this guy.

I disagree with the choice of barney frank. He is the one guy in the world every politician is afraid to debate. He is a brilliant man and has a great sense of humor. He is respected by his constituency and will get back to a call. I have seen him show up for fisherman that were on strike, without any cameras there. Teddy and john Kerry are the opposite they walk around like royalty.

He was only a drunk.I'd also nominate Natalie Jacobson, she had the nerve to come to Boston and demand that we call it "Fannel Hall".How can a mid westerner know how Bostonians should talk. Trust in God and sin not.Don't blame me I'm like Sparky I voted for Sarah to.

" He was only a drunk." so that makes him not annoying? after candle pins for cash show was canceled He had an ad in the herald where he named himself "The Great Gamere " you gave him money and he would pick bets. I saw him out one night ,walk up to some southie tuffs in a bar in quincy market and claim he was gonna take their girlfriends away in his limo and they would go because he was rich and you guys are poor . The only way he made it out of there alive, was with the bouncers help. two years after that night he was found stabbed in the weeds of fenway at 3 am. fred this guy is the Ted Williams of annoying. He should get lifetime achievement award Dukakis is the only other boston guy that even comes close .

how could you forget Brian McGrory? I'd leave Barnicle off, as he's largely dropped from public sight.

Don't take mike barnicle off the list He is a very special kind of annoying. He talks like he lives in the projects of southie ,to be one of the people but yet ,lives in lincoln and sends his kids to belmont hill school. and then puts down people that live in natick.

Sure, but I thought since he no longer wrote for either the Globe or the Herald, that he'd dropped out of sight.
