Its ratings .He was dull and didn't have a big enough following. Trust in God and sin not.Don't blame me I'm like Sparky I voted for Sarah to.
Tod Gross is FAR from being dull and one of the BEST Meteorologists in the New England corridor. I can only hope that he'll re-appear on another news channel nearbye, and continue the Excellent work he's done all these years. Until he's back on the air, I'll miss his night time weather reports greatly.

I deleted a couple of your posts here. You make some really serious allegations which, if true, would certainly explain Channel 7's reluctance to talk about why Gross no longer works there. However, absent proof of those allegations, the last thing I need is a libel suit on my hands. I hope you can understand (or provide proof).
I do understand and I hope I didnt get you in trouble. In case you were wondering I swear on my life regarding those issues. I am just upset that so many faithful viewers of Channel 7 are turned off from the station because they think he was dealt with unfairly. What was done will always remain a secret, and Channel 7 will always be the bad guy in this whole mess.
I dont care what Todd Gross did. All i care about is that it couldnt have been his fault or channel 7 would tell all of us y it happened. I say we all complain to channel 7 itself with emails or somthing

Could we amend that to: All of you who watch Channel 7, send e-mails to Channel 7. I know I'm an effete pinko snob and all, but I can't watch any station that employs Dan "Angel of Death" Housle, so I'm certainly not going to care who tells us there how much plowable snow we're going to get.
Hello to Adam and the rest. This is my first posting her because I searched Todd Gross articles and forums, because I am curious what happened to him? Btw Adam, you cannot get a 'libel suit' for printing any truths about anyone, so if Sunapee (?) posted why Todd fired, I wish I hadn't missed that post but I did. To Sunapee, I know you cannot repost it, but did Todd really do anything unethical or unprofessional? It's very odd to fire someone mid-contract. Channel 7 needs to clean house (several others who are unprofessional lol). Snowflake

Hello Fred, An employer does need a valid and legal reason to fire an employee, especially one with a contract. We are not talking about a Burger King job here! Now, does anyone know why Todd Gross needed to be "escorted out by security"?? What on earth did he do?! BTW, I received an email from him. (I guess he answers all of his emails personally) Snowflake
To everybody, Does anybody know of or have a link to any very recent stories (within the last week) about the Todd Gross situation? I've searched, I cannot find any information. And, did anyone here watch the weather promo that Todd did on December 2nd?????? Did anything on air seem odd? He supposedly said something? Hi "weatherfan", Very astute. Why doesn't channel 7 "be a man" and announce the who, what, where, when, and WHY? They owe us! By not telling anyone, we assume the worst both about Todd and the station. Todd doesn't deserve to end up on a third-rate Ch. 56, 38, or Fox! Have you seen those plus-size suits on Fox?

Maybe he can get a job up in New Hampshire ,but they like the guy with the squeaky voice.Thery don't have togive any reason for firing him.If his contract was violated ,then he can sue them.So far he hasn't done that so maybe he realizes that he was canned for good cause. Snowflake, one explanation for Gross' firing was posted here & then removed (which I agree with for the reason given), that said I heard the same rumor from a friend who works at Channel 5. IF true, firing Gross was the correct thing to do, again if the rumor is true.

Your best bet is to contact Sunapee, the original poster. In the post, Sunapee made 2 allegations, both of which are as yet unproven. I heard about one of those allegations (the lessor of the two imo) a few days earlier from a friend. That's about all I can say about it. For the record, the only other member here I exchange e-mails with is Fred. Cuz he's the man!

Snowflake, have you read this? http://groups.msn.com/BostonTVNews/toddgrossexclusiveinterview.msnw It would seem according to Gross' own statements that Channel 7 didn't abruptly fire him. If they did fire him abruptly, why would he say otherwise? To cover up some misconduct? I dunno.
