Everytime I shave, my kids think I'm Elvis on the run.

I don'think there is any such thing as a good Elvis impersonator.None of the ones I have seen were very good in fact most of them were pretty bad.
Trust in God and sin not.Don't blame me I'm like Sparky I voted for Sarah to.

Just wantd to say you ought to check out Shawn Klush he is an awsome Elvis. Been to see him many times I am never disapointed. Also if you are ever in the Massachusettes area you should look up Kevin Bond he is another very good Elvis an unbelievable voice. Though I will agree with you on one point there is a lot of very bad Elvis wanna be's out there. Any way have a great day.

There's a 400+ lb Elvis impersonator in Las Vegas who performs daily in one of the smaller hotels. I've never seen him, but heard that he sounds exactly like Elvis.

and BTW I think the hotel in Vegas where he performs is the Barbary Coast, and he goes by the name of Big Elvis. This is the main reason why I mentioned his weight...not poking fun at him or the Real Elvis shortly before his death, just describing the way he stands out from the rest of impersonators.

And when I was in Hawaii, the hotel I was staying at had a lounge that featured the World's Youngest Elvis Impersonator...he was four years old. Somehow I missed that show too.

Back in my Middlesex News days, the newsroom was regularly accosted (only by phone, fortunately), by a woman who would call up and ask if we could do a story on her because she was the world's first handicapped female Elvis impersonator. If a reporter picked up the phone, he or she knew what to do: Hang up or, if one was feeling mean, pass her onto one of the interns, who would listen, then hang up. But she learned the sequence of phone numbers in our newsroom and she would call the next number and the next and so on until finally somebody would get tired or annoyed and would call the PD in her town and ask them to get her to knock it off or take her meds or something.

As long as you didn't ask them to get her to impersonate Elvis the way HE took HIS meds...that would be mean.

No, that would be cruel, and as they taught us in reporter school: When dealing with handicapped female Elvis impersonators, don't be cruel.

Has anyone seen "Golden Joe Baker"? He was
a very good Elvis impersonator who worked locally
in the 70's and 80's. He was bald and shaped like Buddha, but if you looked the other way, you would believe that Elvis was in the club. He used to perform regularly at Bulldog's in Savin Hill.

It's not local but I saw a Japanese Elvis impersonator at Philly airport once.

(I'm guessing he was Japanese...he was taking pictures of people in the departure lounge..)

About "Big Elvis" in Las Vegas...may be the real thing!?

According to the link below, Big Elvis, the impersonator in Las Vegas who resembles an exaggerated Elvis late in life, is claiming that he has DNA evidence to support his contention that Elvis really is his natural father. Only in Vegas, baby!

Yeah, an arco is a bow used on an instrument. Or it's a gas station.

eeka, would you be a dear and fetch the mother of your love child a hot...caramel sundae (notice how I eschewed the word 'fudge') with pickles on top...I'm having one of my cravings again.
